Course content

• regulatory requirements;
• risk assessment of work at heights;
• methods of safe installation without the use of personal fall protection equipment;
• the use of personal fall protection and where to attach;
• measures to reduce the risk of falling for persons and objects;
• assessment of the maintenance condition of the scaffolding material;
• safety measures in the event of weather changes that may adversely affect the safety of the scaffolding;
• assessment of other risks that assembly, disassembly and modification may entail;
• Permissible loads (load classes)
• wind forces and anchoring of scaffolding;
• the use of assembly instructions for the scaffolding in question;
• Understanding of plans for assembly, disassembly and modification
• use of collective and personal fall protection equipment;
• knowledge of control and stabilization of scaffolding up to 9 meters;
• inspection, report and signage of scaffolding;
• prepare the necessary documentation;

Goal for course

Qualifying scaffolders for assembly, dismantling, modification and inspection of scaffolding with upper decks between 5 and 9 meters in standard alignment.

Diploma

A diploma of course completion shall be issued to each student who has successfully met the requirement of the course. The certificate shall include PNI Training Centre AS, Course title, Date of the course, Date of birth (Student), Name of the student and be signed by Managing Director/Coordinator.
